Mowing Information

Upon joining/renewing membership in the JCRC, members will need to pay what is know as a mowing fee.  The purpose of this fee is to help cover the costs associated with mowing and maintaining the field.

At the first meeting after the yearly membership renewal forms are due, names of members who want the opportunity to mow will be randomly drawn until the season's mowing schedule is filled.  Those selected can choose the week that they would like to mow. 

Upon completion of mowing the member will receive a refund greater than the mowing fee.  Mowing fee and refund amount will be announced each year.

If a member cannot mow because of the weather (as determined by the field maintenance coordinator) their mowing fee refunded per the amount paid by the member to the club.

Those members who are unable to mow during their scheduled week should try to make arrangements for a member to substitute.  Substitutions must be coordinated with the field maintenance coordinator.

Junior members under 18 are exempt from mowing fees and mowing.

Members with total and permanent disability will be exempt from mowing fees and mowing.
